The Workshop

Improve (and practice) telling your story at Practice Your Pitch - a collaborative training session facilitated by communication strategist and coach, Christina Brennan.

Come prepared to work! You will be:

  • Refining your messaging/pitch

  • Receiving feedback from an expert and your peers

  • Practicing in a safe space

  • Learning tactics for practicing, as well as conquering stage fright and boosting your confidence

  • Networking with like-minded professionals

Event Agenda:

5:00-5:30pm -- Guests arrive / Networking

5:30-5:50pm -- Intro and best practices tips

5:50-6:35pm -- “Speed pitching” (partner up with other attendees to practice)

6:35-7:00pm -- Five people get 2 mins to pitch in front of the room with group feedback

Christina Brennan

As a communication consultant, Christina helps professionals and companies figure out what they’re trying to say and how to say it well.

Through workshops, courses, and 1:1 coaching, she builds messaging development, storytelling, and public speaking – helping her clients build deeper connections, land more deals, and overall be more impactful communicators. Through her diverse background in marketing, advertising, sales, and journalism - with large corporations like Microsoft and startups alike - she's established systems that help her understand how any audience best consumes information and how to create content that is useful and memorable.

Originally from CO, Christina played basketball while pursuing her degree in Communication with a Business minor. After college, she moved to Texas and eventually made her way to the Seattle area, where she truly kicked off her entrepreneurial journey. Christina organizes with the Poor People’s Campaign and wants “to see everyone make it!”
